It is imperative we provide Americans with a plan that provides immediate relief for families suffering under the burden of skyrocketing health insurance premiums and uncertainty. I consistently fight for common-sense healthcare reform, including efforts to provide healthcare plans that are more patient-centered, flexible, and, most importantly, affordable. I believe in increasing price transparency and fostering competition to lower health care costs and prescription drug prices. We must get rid of the one-size-fits-all approach and allow states to build systems that work for their citizens.
