Cramer campaign launches TV ad highlighting Heitkamp’s enthusiastic support of Hillary Clinton
Liberal voting record does not represent North Dakota

BISMARCK, N.D. – North Dakotans will be reminded of Heidi Heitkamp’s enthusiastic support of Hillary Clinton’s failed presidential campaign in a television ad being released by the Cramer for U.S. Senate Campaign. The TV ad will be running in all North Dakota television broadcast markets and can be viewed here.
“Senator Heitkamp’s wild support for Hillary Clinton and her out-of-touch policies show exactly why she has no business representing North Dakotans in the U.S. Senate,” said Tim Rasmussen, communications director for Cramer’s campaign. “In recent weeks, Senator Heitkamp has attempted to convince North Dakotans of her conservative ideals and her alleged allegiance to President Trump. But North Dakota voters know better. Heitkamp spent her time in Washington voting with Barack Obama 88 percent of the time and opposing North Dakotans to back out-of-touch liberals like Hillary Clinton.”
North Dakota overwhelmingly supported President Trump in the 2016 presidential campaign where he won by a whopping 36 points over Clinton.
“Heitkamp’s support for Clinton and other liberal Democrat party leaders like Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi does not represent North Dakota voters. This ad clearly shows her position in her own words.  Heitkamp comes to North Dakota and tells the voters she represents North Dakota, but her support for Hillary and other liberal leaders tells a different story,” Rasmussen said.
