BISMARCK, ND – ND Public Service Commissioner and 2012 US House candidate Kevin Cramer has announced the first town hall meetings of his congressional campaign.
Beginning with an open forum meeting in Valley City this Saturday, January 28, and followed by 3 more next weekend in the Grafton area, Cramer said that he hopes to engage citizens in discussions about the issues that matter most to them, to listen to their concerns, answer their questions and involve more people in the political process.
“Without the involvement of concerned citizens, Washington will never change,” said Cramer. “The Town Hall meeting was foundational in building our young nation, and it remains just as important today. It is representative democracy at its most basic, grassroots level – sharing ideas and concerns with one another and then going out to vote.”
Cramer is planning on holding meetings in towns and communities all around the state over the next several months.
